Blood & Wine

vinum et musica laetificant cor sanguinans: wine and music gladden the bleeding heart

Prompt
Your whole being becomes centered in your senses and your hungers. Create a Skill that demonstrates your feral vampire nature and lose an existing Memory.

Time moved. I grew bored. The sensations of Northern France had become so mundane, I knew it was time to leave. I took a ship to Venice, a trading port in Italy known for its fashions. I hoped to restart my business in adornment, or perhaps another house of vice.
And then I discovered *i mascherari*: the maskmakers' guild. I had remade my plague doctor's mask a hundred times since I left home, each iterations more elaborate. They considered my designs original. Exciting. I started making masks that reminded me of blood, hunger, and lavender.
I'm swept up in a world of dance, fine food, sculpture and paint, dazzling architecture, and even music. I find I can bear the sound when outside a Church, draped in a heavy costume and mask. The layers of fabric seem to deaden the sound before it hits my skin.
The costumes are so elaborate here, I can even go out in the day, with my high collar, long cloves, and wide-brimmed elaborate hat.
Most delightfully, I've learned if I drink the blood of a human who has consumed significant amounts of wine, I too can feel the elation of its effects. How wild and free, to be inebriated once more. I enjoy partaking in their ongoing celebrations.
There are spots in my memory from the times I consume too many revelers, and I find my past grows blurrier faster. I do not mind. One should not carry so many lifetimes in their heart.

+1 Skill, Revelry
-1 Memory, Maison-Dieu
